The New Jersey MLS was founded in 1977 when the Internet was only a simple notion on someones desk. Today, the NJMLS is at the forefront of eBusiness and focuses on technology as a part of their market philosophy.

Challenge

The NJMLS needed to bring its listing data to the Internet and needed a firm who could integrate legacy information to the Internet. Furthermore, they needed a firm that could constantly adapt to a changing market.

Our Solution

NJ Internet Access worked with NJMLS's MIS staff to deploy a public web site that integrated their legacy back end Sun server to a front end Microsoft IIS web server. We later deployed a data replication system to replicate listing information to the public web site.

The NJMLS again approached us to assist them in deploying the NAR mandated IDX (Internet Data Exchange) solution. Once again, our team of designers deployed a full set of IDX solutions that are totally customizable and adaptable to any broker or agents needs.

Results

The NJMLS now has a broad range of eBusiness solutions including a scalable IDX solution for their members. Through our eMarketing plans they are also well positioned in the Internet search market, getting well over 300,000 visitors each month looking for Real Estate in New Jersey.
